Colin Farrell Buys Ex-Girlfriend $1.2 Million House

After splitting with girlfriend Alicja Bachleda in October, Colin Farrell buys her a $1.2 million home.

Colin Farrell knows that nothing cushions a break-up with a major celebrity like a grand parting gift. And we think the $1.2 million, 2,736-square-foot Tudor-style house that he just bought for his ex-girlfriend (and mother of his one-year-old child, Henry Tadeusz) does the trick.

And now: A peek at the house that Colin Farrell built -- err, bought, is located at the bottom of the Hollywood Hills. Now come on inside. For now we've got pictures of the living room, kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom, but check back later for the entryway nook, dining room, patio and family room. Plus, the other two bathrooms and bedrooms!

These tall ceilings, tall windows and handmade hardwood floors are calling out to us. We hope she moves in before the holidays so she can enjoy that fireplace on Christmas Eve.

Between the white tile, dark wood cabinetry and terra cotta floors, the kitchen has a classic feel. The giant driftwood-framed mirror adds pizazz -- but who wants to look at themselves while they eat? Wonder if Bachleda will get rid of that once she moves in!

A big comfy bed + huge windows + that fireplace = The cure for waking up on Monday mornings.

Cool blues and a charming pedestal sink make for a simple but lovely bathroom. We wouldn't change anything in here.
